Pompadour French court heels are the picture-perfect shoes for your exquisite Baroque and Rococo ensembles. Named for the famous Madame de Pompadour, these heels are closely based on extant early 18th century shoes found in museums, and feature an easy tabbed closure that can be laced with your favorite colored ribbon, cockade, or pom-pom decoration.
Accurate for the 1680s all the way through the 1740s, the Pompadours feature a hand-sewn black jacquard textile upper, and our custom designed, leather-covered Louis heels, with all the high fashion style of Madame de Pompadour herself.
Pompadour is historically correct for the 1680s through 1740s.

- 100% smooth, hard, Italian leather soles, perfect for dancing.
- Our exclusive American Duchess Louis heels are hand-covered in 100% calf leather.
- Heels are 2.5 inches high, placed in the center of your heel, and flared for stability and the period look.
- Comes complete with ribbon.
