These historical shoes are specially designed to withstand dirt, mud, water, and years of wear, but at the same time are fashionable for shoes of the 18th century, for women needing American or French colonial footwear, or ladies of the court seeking beautifully designed, European-style historical footwear.

Devonshires run true-to-size.

• The Devonshires are closely based on extant examples of shoes from the 1750s, 1760s and the 1770s
• Waterproof, mud-proof, extremely comfortable, and made for hard-wearing out of doors.
• The latchet straps can be worn with 1.25" buckles, or looped back to be worn with bows
• The custom-designed Louis heel is beautifully shaped and balanced for maximum comfort and style
• The Devonshires are constructed of high-grade, soft, dyable leather.
• Smooth 100% leather sole, suitable for dancing
• Heel Height - 1.75 inches
• The Devonshires come in white leather and can be colored a variety of hues with leather stains or dyes.
