Caring for Silk Shoes
Your white silk Georgiana shoes can be washed under the tap in warm water. For light cleaning, use mild detergent such as Woolite, and a soft cloth. Do not scrub the Georgianas with a brush, as it will damage the fibers of the silk. Georgiana shoes that have been dyed should not be cleaned in this way.
We recommend that all silk shoes be sprayed with Scotch Guard, but do keep in mind that once sprayed, new dye can not be applied.
Caring for Leather Shoes
Your leather shoes are high grade, 100% real leather, and can be cleaned with shoe cleaning products, washed with soapy water, or lightly wiped with nail polish remover to remove strong marks and scuffs.
If you have painted or dyed your leather shoes, protect them with a sealer coat (spray or acrylic sealer), and clean them with a wet cloth. Avoid acetone and alcohol-based cleaners when cleaning painted or dyed shoes.
